A malfunctioning sprinkler system can quietly drain your budget while leaving your lawn patchy and stressed. Verdure Lawncare Services tracks down the root cause quickly and completes lasting repairs, so your irrigation runs the way it's supposed to.
How It Works
Why we test the whole system before touching a single component
Sprinkler systems can break down for a number of reasons, and patching only the obvious symptom often means the same problem resurfaces within a month. Whenever our team arrives at a Alamosa East, CO property, we start with a complete zone-by-zone pressure test to see how every valve and head is actually performing while water is flowing.
Underground leaks are especially tough to pin down since there's usually nothing visible above ground. A soggy patch that won't dry out, an unexplained jump in your water bill, or turf that stays waterlogged all point toward a cracked or separated line below the surface. We combine pressure readings with a close look at soil saturation to zero in on the leak before any digging starts.
Aging systems frequently run into valve and solenoid trouble as well. A valve that sticks in the open or closed position can leave a zone running nonstop or refusing to turn on at all. Our technicians check the wiring, swap out worn solenoids, and rebuild valve assemblies so every zone answers the controller correctly again.
Before we consider the job finished, we cycle through every zone to confirm the coverage is even and the timing is accurate. We also double-check the controller's programming, since an outdated schedule is sometimes mistaken for a mechanical breakdown. Our aim on every visit is a system that runs the way it was meant to, not a patch job that fails again next season.
Watch For These
Spotting these early can save your lawn and your wallet from bigger damage
A wet spot that never fully dries usually points to a break in the line underground.
Uneven coverage is often the result of a clogged, cracked, or misdirected head.
An unexplained spike in usage is a common sign that water is escaping somewhere in the system.
A zone that stays silent usually means a failed valve, solenoid, or wiring connection.
Why Act Now
The advantages of addressing irrigation problems as soon as they appear
Sealing leaks and repairing faulty valves stops wasted water right away, which usually shows up on your very next bill.
Balanced, consistent watering keeps your lawn from developing the dry patches and soggy spots that stress the grass over time.
Ongoing leaks close to your home can shift the soil around your foundation. Repairing them quickly limits that exposure.
Once the controller is working properly, your lawn gets watered exactly when you programmed it to, with no surprises.
Handling minor issues promptly helps you avoid the larger, costlier breakdowns that show up when small problems are ignored.
The majority of our repair visits wrap up in a single trip, so your system is back online without a long wait.
